What We Do

Throughout the semester, UWEC AMA puts on several events for its members and others. These events strengthen the friendships and teamwork between the members as well as give back to the community and UW-Eau Claire campus. For more information, read the event descriptions below.

New Member Dinner

New Member Dinner is a fun way to kick off each semester. All current and new members are encouraged to come and meet new people. We eat some yummy food and play a few team building games to get the semester rolling on the right note.

B.O.B
Blugold Organization Bash is a semi-annual event where all organizations reaching out to the UW-Eau Claire campus community to obtain more members and bring awareness to all the different organizations.
Costumes for a Cause
Costumes for a Cause is our main fundraising event of the year. UWEC AMA works hard all year long to obtain sponsors and plan this community-wide event. This year, we will be hosting our event in person along with being able to donate to the American Cancer Society online. Check out our Facebook event below for more information!

Highway Cleanup

AMA volunteers once a year to clean up the highway right next to campus, making sure the Eau Claire community stays nice for everyone.
Corn Maze

Each fall, AMA ventures out into the community of Eau Claire to celebrate a new semester. With everyone dressed warm, we enjoy each others company, sit by the fire after finding our way out of the maze. This event is one the first opportunities for new members to mingle with directors, E-board and other veterans of the club.
