AMA Stays Busy in November!

November 12th

Christopher Black, CEO of Live and Breathe Technologies spoke at the American Marketing Association weekly meeting. During his presentation, he discussed his story to success, tips and tricks to remember in marketing/sales and lastly the internship opportunities his company holds. He stated if you are accountable, reliable and dependable, you will be able to achieve great things. Chris also stressed that a good salesman knows his product inside and out, but a great salesman knows the competition’s products inside and out too. This Thursday on November 19th, AMA will be hosting a speaker from Sherwin Williams.

This past Sunday, AMA went and participated in a Highway Cleanup. We cleaned highway 37 for an hour and a half and then went as an organization to go watch the Packers game. AMA loves to get involved in the community as they will soon be heading to the Humane Society to help volunteer sometime in the next few upcoming weeks.

Some events coming up for AMA are the Triple House Hop and the Eau Claire Regional Conference. The Regional Conference is taking place on February 19th and the theme this year is “Fail Fast, Succeed Faster.” We are starting to book speakers and employers that will be attending this event which will allow students to the opportunity to network and learn new things.
